Training on Neglected Tropical Diseases(NTDs)/ Social Behavior change(SBC)

RwandaNGOForum , in partnership with @RBCRwanda under the support from @TheENDFund , wrapped up a powerful weeklong training on Neglected Tropical Diseases(NTDs)/ Social Behavior change(SBC) and related advocacy for Youth Champions in @BugeseraDistr & @RuhangoDistrict . These dynamic young leaders gained critical skills in NTDs awareness, SBC and grassroots advocacy to drive Rwanda’s Interruption of Transmission (IoT) plan for Schistosomiosis and Soil Transmitted Helminths While Mass Drug Administration has helped reduce burden of NTDs, challenges like poor WASH, myths, and low community involvement persist.
