Mission

RNGOF on HIV/AIDS and Health Promotion’s mandate is to promote, coordinate, build capacity, advocate for; monitor and evaluate activities of member NGOs engaged in the Health and Human Rights response in Rwanda; Networking and advocate for civil society involvement in all National Health related Programs and Human Rights and policy development in order to improve the living conditions of the affected and or infected communities.

Vision

Eradication of all barriers that could compromise the behavior change of Rwandan population by way of which men, women, youth and children are protected from HIV/AIDS, NTDs and are all able to partake in the same rights as all citizens.

Core Values

The core values of RNGOF on HIV/AIDS and Health Promotion guide its efforts in advancing health and human rights in Rwanda. They reflect a strong commitment to ethics, community empowerment, and collaborative advocacy. These principles ensure consistent, transparent, and impactful action. These are:

Strategic Objectives

Strengthening CSO and community capacity in HIV/AIDS, human rights, and health promotion, with a focus on malaria, TB, RMNCAH, neglected tropical diseases, and WASH.

To strengthen CSOs’ and Communities’ participation and influence in National policy formulation and in National / International programming

To advocate for and constitute a bridge between CSOs, Government, and Development Partners;

To increase access to resources by members through mobilization, proposal development and grant-making;

To strengthen institutional capacities, planning and leadership development for RNGOF and NGO members;

To disseminate to members useful information related to funding opportunities, trainings, and conferences

We work with National NGOs working on Health and Human Rights who serve Key and Priority Populations and high-risk groups.
